Dinolandia – an encounter with prehistory and great fun Hundreds of millions of years before the appearance of the first humans on Earth were dominated by dinosaurs and other amazing animals. They mastered the prehistoric seas, air and land and reigned over the world for about 165 million years. When visiting Dinolandia, you can travel back in time to the distant Mesozoic era and get an up-close look at these amazing animals – the menacing Tyrannosaurus Rex, the chicken-sized Kompsognath, or the Mamenchisaurus, which invites visitors to the beach. Amazing creatures are only part of Dinolandia’s attractions. Guests not only learn about the most famous representatives of Mesozoic reptiles, but also have fun overcoming obstacles on the DinoBases or climbing the Climbing Wall to observe the world from above, like a long-eared Diplodocus. Those who like peace and quiet will discover the charms of playing miniature golf. The biggest attractions are waiting for the little ones. To choose from, to color. You can take an unforgettable ride on the Pirate Railway, “take a bath” in the Ball Pool, take a spin in the Gyroscope, take an extraordinary ride in the Crazy Jeeps, or get off the ground on the Euro Bungee. In Dinolandia you can also enter the Cave of Secrets, whose dark corridors lead to… It’s best to see for yourself. The Garden of John Paul II – an extraordinary painting You only have to climb 96 stairs to get to the very top of the Observation Tower and see an extraordinary painting painted with thousands of shrubs, trees and flowers – a portrait of John Paul II surrounded by St. Peter ‘ s Basilica. The basilica of St. Peter in the Vatican and the Basilica of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Wadowice. Those who have trouble climbing stairs can use the elevator to get to the top of the Tower. Climbing the Tower will not only allow you to see the extraordinary image, but also break the barrier of fear of heights and admire the panorama of the Beskid Maly. The whole is complemented by an exhibition of photographs depicting individual elements from the life of John Paul II. The photos show the path to sainthood of our Great Compatriot, and are a testimony to the extraordinary Pontificate. The Garden also featured excerpts from the book “Flowers of John Paul II” by Janusz Poniewierski. We invite all who wish to visit a place dedicated to John Paul II, to the theater of the changing seasons, where vegetation creates a vivid image depicting the figure of the Polish Pope, the Basilica of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Wadowice and the Basilica of St. Peter in Wadowice.
